Yorkshire artist Ben Staves is renowned for his highly detailed, hand drawn maps inspired by the places that shape our lives.
Originally studying architecture, Ben’s keen love of design eventually took him in an unexpected direction, launching StavesArt in 2017, with a mission to create unique cityscapes and fine art prints that tell a story.
What started as a small family-run market stall has grown into an award-winning business with more than 100 original designs, proudly displayed in homes worldwide. Almost ten years on, StavesArt continues to capture the places that matter to us, creating unique artwork for the home that celebrates the things we love from home grounds to hometowns.

TIMELESS HAND DRAWN MAPS WITH A TWIST
From towns and cities to sporting worlds, StavesArt combines meticulous detail, intricate linework and a unique perspective to transform the places we love into one-of-a-kind wall art. Each of our fine art prints is filled with nostalgia; look closely and you’ll recognise the streets you’ve walked, the buildings you pass and the landmarks that mean so much.
Hand-drawn with pen and ink, each of Ben’s original artworks is carefully plotted out by eye, with the 360° world mapped out using a central
perspective point. Each piece is an authentic labour of love, taking 80–100
hours to complete with no AI trickery at play. Ben’s architectural influence is
clear to see as roads, buildings and landmarks curve around the artwork to
create an intricate, almost three-dimensional world.
