FAQs
How long will my order take to arrive?
We post out all our online orders within 1-3 working days. In most cases we’ll use DPD’s next day delivery service or ParcelForce Express48 service so your order should arrive within a week. You’ll get updates and tracking information sent from the courier.
Do you ship internationally?
We do! Please note that all international orders will be sent rolled into a tube rather than mounted. Additional shipping costs will be required and some countries will also add an import tax to be paid upon arrival by the customer. Please keep a look out on your tracking information provided by the courier for details.
What size frame do I need?
All our prints are cut to standard, off-the-shelf sized frames. The dimensions given on the drop down menu are the same as the ‘window’ of the frame you’ll need. We recommend going to a framing gallery or art shop as they usually have the best quality and largest choice of frames.
What happens if my order does not arrive?
If the courier is unable to deliver your order, leave it in a safe place or with a neighbour, your order will be returned to our office. If it is returned we will then attempt a second delivery as soon as we can. To ensure orders arrive successfully, we ask that customers make sure the delivery address is correct and that they keep an eye on tracking information provided by the courier. In most cases the courier is able to give an expected delivery time slot or options to change the delivery date.
What happens if my artwork arrives damaged?
In the unlikely event that your artwork arrives having been damaged in transit, we ask that customers email info@stavesart.com with your order number and images of the damaged print. We can then arrange for a replacement to be sent out as soon as possible.
Do you take requests?
Whilst I am not taking on any new commissions for the time being, I am always interested to hear what people would like to see next! Feel free to send me your suggestions to ben@stavesart.com or message me on Instagram @stavesart.
Where can I find a full list of available prints?
You can find the full list of available prints via the ‘Find Your World’ page.
How do you create your artwork?
All the original pieces are drawn by hand using pen and ink. I use a 0.05mm fine liner pen to enable me to work on the tiny detail within my designs. After the drawing is complete, I scan the original and add colour digitally using a drawing tablet.
How long does each piece take to do?
Depending on the size and complexity of the piece they can take anywhere from a few days to a few months to complete! The largest pieces I have done are the sporting maps pieces - they took around 3 months each to finish!
What are you working on next?
My next big pieces will be focusing on sporting maps for motorsport, rugby league and horse racing. Alongside the big maps I also intend to add to the collection of football and rugby ground prints - send me a message to ben@stavesart.com or @stavesart on Instagram with your suggestions!
