Cardiff is getting ready for a feast of flavour, colour, and creativity as the The Great Cardiff Feast arrives in the city centre from 16–19 April 2026. The free street‑food celebration will transform Queen Street (CF10 2GR) into a vibrant hub of global cuisine, artisan traders, music, and family‑friendly entertainment.
Running from 10am to 7pm Thursday to Saturday, and 10am to 5pm on Sunday, the festival promises an open‑air atmosphere packed with independent food stalls, sweet treats, craft drinks, DJs, and local makers — the perfect spring outing for visitors and locals alike. And this year, we’re thrilled to say that StavesArt will be there.
We’re Bringing Cardiff to Cardiff — Literally
As a city rich in culture, architecture, and sporting heritage, Cardiff has always been a favourite subject in our collection. That’s why we’re excited to bring our hand‑drawn Cardiff artwork to the festival — a piece that celebrates the city’s landmarks, energy, and unmistakable character. We will also be launching our brand new Cardiff Spiral, just in time for the weekend.
Visitors will be able to browse our Cardiff prints in person, chat with us about the creative process, and discover the intricate details that make StavesArt pieces so special. Whether you’re a proud Cardiff local, a student, a visitor, or someone who simply loves the city’s spirit, our artwork is a perfect way to take a piece of Cardiff home.
What to Expect at the Festival
The Cardiff Food Festival is shaping up to be one of the standout events of the spring:
• Street food from around the world — from sizzling grills to gourmet desserts.
• Independent traders and artisan stalls — perfect for unique gifts and local finds.
• Live DJs and entertainment — adding rhythm and atmosphere to the city centre.
• Family‑ and dog‑friendly — a relaxed, welcoming environment for everyone.
• Free entry — just turn up and enjoy the day.
With the festival taking place right in the heart of Cardiff, it’s an ideal opportunity to explore the city, support local businesses, and soak up the spring sunshine.
